Front Range CrossFit Is…
…A Family-Owned Strength and Conditioning Facility in Denver, Colorado:
FRCF was the first, and is the largest, dedicated, full-time CrossFit facility in the greater Denver area. We affiliated with CrossFit in April of 2006 and we are currently the 55th affiliate. As of April 2013 there are over 6,300 affiliates world-wide.
… A CrossFit Gym:
CrossFit takes a variety of exercises from different sports and combines them into an interval-style workout. The exercises and workout length change every day so you never know what challenge will be next. One day you may be flipping tires and running sprints and the next day you could be doing pull-ups, plyometrics and Olympic weightlifting. All CrossFit movements are scalable and adaptable to fit all fitness levels and abilities. CrossFit workouts are done for time, to see how fast you can get the prescribed work done. The person who can, for example, move the most weight, the furthest, the fastest, is considered the fittest. We will occasionally repeat a workout to test your progress. CrossFit is hard work, engaging, fun and effective. We guarantee you will never be bored with your workout again.
…Results Driven:
Front Range CrossFit is not a typical gym—in fact, it’s more like an athletic team, and we consider each and every one of our members to be an athlete. Our workouts are tough competitive events, requiring perseverance and endurance that can be tailored to all abilities. We hold our members to high standards of health and fitness, and in return, they develop into athletes who value discipline and training. Front Range CrossFit is for you if you are willing to routinely test your mental and physical toughness in order to achieve life-changing results.
… A Leader in the Sport of Fitness:
In implementation, CrossFit is, quite simply, a sport. We’ve learned that harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition, and fun of sport yields an intensity that cannot be matched by other means. Since the inception of The CrossFit Games in 2007, FRCF has qualified and sent more athletes to The Games than any other affiliate in the world. We are the only affiliate to qualify athletes in every category (individual, team and masters) for the past 3 years. Our team has placed in the top ten at The CrossFit Games since 2008 and was 2nd in the world in 2011. We have also produced a national champion Olympic weightlifter. We believe our results speak for themselves.
…A Diverse Membership:
Our members span a variety of athletic abilities, ages and backgrounds. All you need to be successful is a commitment to your health and fitness and a willingness to work hard. We have trained everyone from high school athletes, former national team rowers and cyclists, NFL and NHL players, and military personnel to adult recreational athletes, executives, moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas and those who miss their high school or collegiate team experience. All you have to do is show up willing to work; we will guide you from there.
…A Community:
Each workout is organized into a team practice. The team will stretch together, warm up together, practice skills together and finally work out together. The camaraderie and energy during the workout are palpable. Everyone is genuinely rooting for others to do their absolute best. This group energy enables you to easily harness strength and drive within yourself that was previously untapped. This is most notable during the workouts that seem the most daunting. Whatever you can do on your own, you'll do significantly better in this type of atmosphere. You will find that you’re having fun, achieving goals and working out with a group of people who quickly become your friends.
…World-Class Coaching:
We are professionals. At FRCF you will experience world-class coaching in the Olympic lifts, kettlebell movements, rowing, running, power lifting and basic gymnastics skills. Our coaches are required to be CrossFit certified and to continue their education, training and competitive athletic endeavors. Each coach has also completed the FRCF 76-hour Coaching Development Program. In addition to their ability to teach technical movements, our coaches support, encourage, motivate and challenge you both mentally and physically to achieve your goals. At FRCF, we endeavor to bring state-of-the-art coaching techniques to both the general public and to athletes who otherwise would not have access to current techniques, research and coaching methods.
…A State-of-the-Art Facility:
FRCF has 9,500 sq. ft. of training space that is split into two large rooms. The CrossFit Gym has roughly 8500 pounds of weights, 17 Concept 2 rowers and enough kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, bumper plates, jump boxes, medicine balls, slam balls, gymnastics rings, pull-up bars, and enough open space to effectively train up to 36 athletes in a single workout. Our ceilings are 15’ high to accommodate ropes and rings and a pull-up/jungle-gym structure. The Weight Room has a total of 12 lifting platforms. Each platform has its own squat stands and a full set of bumper plates. We also have two enclosed squat racks, two sets of jerk boxes and 3 sets of pull boxes. Our 5 garage doors are open, weather permitting, to let in light and the fresh Colorado air.
…An Extensive Schedule:
We offer group workouts six days a week from 6:00 am – 8:00 pm. Personal training sessions can also be arranged. We offer CrossFit workouts, Skill-Building sessions, and the following classes on a regular schedule: Basic Barbell, Strength, Gymnastics, Rowing, & Olympic Weightlifting. We currently offer 65 different workouts per week.
…Different:
When we opened the FRCF Weight Room, everything changed. For the first time we were able to offer multiple classes at the same time. This allows FRCF members to do the FRCF timed workout-of-the-day, recover and then move into the Weight Room for additional training. We offer many different programs to our athletes every day. These additional programs, ranging from weightlifting to gymnastics, are led by our Senior Coaches. Providing this level of coaching on a nightly basis is what differentiates FRCF from other CrossFit gyms. Our additional programs will give you the strength, explosiveness and technique necessary to improve in your timed CrossFit workouts as well as in your max lifts. All of our scheduled classes are open to every member.
…A Host of Seminars and Events:
We offer several seminars including Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Competitive Kettlebell Technique, Rowing, Jump Rope, Mobility and Nutrition. FRCF is also known for organizing and running exceptional events including the CrossFit Regional Games, the Colorado Open, the Master’s Championship and the FRCF Fall Weightlifting Meet. In addition we host a variety of certification courses given by CrossFit and USAW (USA Weightlifting) throughout the year. Our CrossFit and Weightlifting Camps draw athletes from all over the country and sell out quickly. Descriptions of future seminars and events, including dates are available on our website. www.FrontRangeCrossFit.com
…An Exceptional Experience:
When you walk through our door you will be greeted by name. You will be guided through your workout and coached on technique, form and range of motion. Our coaches will also personalize your workout to meet your physical needs. We log your results on our website and track your progress. Our success is dependent on your success. We do not advertise. Our membership is 100% word-of-mouth. At FRCF there is a sense of unified purpose. We are a group of individuals who are focused on the same goals and lifestyle. We are dedicated to your health, fitness and athletic achievement, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards. We would love for you to come and join the FRCF family.
