Happy Independance Day
Remember, there is only one workout today at 10 AM.
Celena Hollis Memorial Workout
On June 24th. 2012, while attempting to break up a gang-related fight at a City Park jazz concert, Denver Police Department Officer Celena Hollis was shot and killed. She was 32 years old. Hollis, a single parent, leaves behind a 12-year-old daughter. We will be doing today's workout in her honor. If you wish to bring a cash donation, we will see that it gets to the family.
Workout
3 rounds for time of:
32 squat cleans, 135 lbs (95 lbs)
32 burpees
32 kettlebell swings, 24 kg (16 kg)
32 pullups
Teams of four athletes. The catch is that you must have one teammate rowing and one teammate running the entire time. The exercises need to be done in order and all reps of that exercise must be completed before moving onto the next exercise.
"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it."
- Thomas Paine

God Bless Officer Hollis and her family!!!

Thank you Officer Hollis for seven years of service in the Denver community and for your ultimate sacrifice on June 24th.
FRCF is filled with civil service members that work to keep us safe. Thanks for all that you do.

FRCF...... Thank you for supporting a larger family, like DPD.... It means a lot to a lot of people. I am proud to be a member of a gym where this loss was recognized and met with such tremendous effort.
